Home / Why Us

The foundation of the Brazos Valley

Owner-operated, engineering-minded, and accountable for every yard we place. Here's how we work — and why GCs and homeowners keep our number.

01 How We Work

From bid to broom finish

A tight, predictable sequence — so you always know what happens next and when.

STEP 01

Assess & Bid

Walk the site, confirm scope and specs, and deliver a detailed written bid — within 72 hours.

STEP 02

Prep & Form

Grade, compact, form, and set steel. Joints and elevations are laid out before a single yard is ordered.

STEP 03

Pour & Finish

The right mix, placed on schedule and finished to spec — broom, burnish, stamp, or stain.

STEP 04

Cure & Closeout

Proper cure protection, saw-cut control joints on time, and a clean site handed back to you.

02 The Standard

Built like it matters

Precision

Precision Engineering

Laser-level grading, exact joint layout, and mix designs matched to load and use. We build flatwork that measures as good as it looks.

Reliability

Schedules That Hold

Crews mobilize fast and pour on the dates we commit to. GCs and homeowners get the same thing: a schedule they can build around.

Craft

Finishes That Last

From burnished commercial floors to stamped and stained architectural work — finished clean, cured right, and built for decades of Texas weather.

03 The Aversa Family

Stronger together

Aggieland Concrete is a division of Aversa Construction LLC and part of the Aversa family of companies — one owner, shared crews, and the same standard from the first pour to the final walkthrough. When your project needs more than concrete, the rest of the family is already on call.

Owner & Operator

Christopher A. Aversa

Every bid is reviewed personally by the owner — and the same name stands behind the work at year one and year twenty. That's what owner-operated means here: one standard, no handoffs, no excuses.
